DESCRIPTION
CONSTRUCOLOR® S02 is a water-base 100% acrylic polymer Curing and Sealing Compound, that containing 25% solids and is environment friendly, produced under rigorous plant standards.
CONSTRUCOLOR® S02 offers outstanding curing, sealing and dust proofing for freshly finished concrete surfaces. It is designed for interior and exterior use on both freshly and older concrete vertical or horizontal surfaces, when dried produced a non-yellowing durable clear film with excellent resistance to the abrasion and many chemicals substances.

PERFORMANCE
Any change in the proportion of the amount of water, sand, color of cement, type of cement or aggregate that are used on the same job can vary the result of the color tone in the job. The adjoin of lime will tend to lighten the color. Other variables like surface texture, curing conditions can also affect the final color.
In general it is recommended to add between 2% and 10% of BO1 in proportion of the weight of the cement.

APPLICATION
The CONSTRUCOLOR® S02 must be applied to clean concrete. New concrete must be free from dust, water or any contamination. Exixting concrete must be unsealed, dry, clean and free of anything that will prevents penetration. S02 can be applied with a low-pressure sprayer. Protect adjacent surface with plastic. Do not allow the product puddle and dry, excess material can be redistributed with a clean brush. Let the product cure for at leaset 24 hours before walk the surface or 48 before drive over.
Fresh Concrete:
Dilute a part of CONSTRUCOLOR® S02 and a part of water (1:1); apply when all free water in the concrete surface has disappeared and the concrete surface will not be marred. Use low pressure spray, roller or brush. Do no thin. Apply uniformly without puddles. Once the concrete is cure an optional second coat can be applied (100% S02 non dilution).
Old Concrete:
Clean and restore surface is necessary. Dilute a part of CONSTRUCOLOR® S02 and a part of water (1:1); apply with low pressure spray, roller or brush, when dry (that is very quickly) apply a second coat without dilute the sealer.
Color Seal:
CONSTRUCOLOR® S02 can be use as color-matched curing and sealing compound for exterior and interior concrete flatwork that has been colored with B01 Liquid Gel Pigment. It is recommended for curing when a uniform appearance is desired and the concrete will be exposing to extreme situations (heavy traffic, weather, etc). S02 can be applied over colored or uncolored concrete and it’s available in the standart colors of the B01 Liquid Gel Pigment color chart. Spray evenly over the surface with circular motion. COVERAGE RATES
Curing: 300 – 400 sqft per gallon (7.2 – 9.8 m²/lt)
Sealing: First coat: 300 – 400 sqft per gallon (7.2 – 9.8 m²/lt)
Second coat: 400 – 600 sqft per gallon (9.8 – 14.7 m²/lt)
DRYING TIME
For recoating 15 to 30 minutes, wait 24-36 hours for traffic. Dry time is temperature, wind and humidity dependent.
PACKAGING
CONCTRUCOLOR® S02 is packed in 5 gallons buckets. Closed buckets keep the product in good conditions up to a year at a temperatures between 32°F (0°C) and 86°F (30°C).
PRECAUTIONS
Do no apply when air, material and surface temperatures are expected to fall below 40º F (4º C). Use protective clothing and equipment. Refer to Material Safety Data Sheet for additional information.
